As the Business Manager of the Prince Albert Raiders Hockey Club for six years, Michael Scissons has become a well-known personality in the city.
It was the rich history of the Raider Hockey Club that attracted Mike.
“The Raiders receive incredible support from this community,” says Mike. “It seems to be built in the fabric of every member of the community.”
Mike also admires Prince Albert in general for it’s, “strong community spirit”.
As one of the newest members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Mike joined to, “help continue building the positive economic landscape of Prince Albert.”
Mike would like to see leisure suits make a comeback someday, while also hoping to try his hand at deep sea fishing. In the meantime, he enjoys cooking and time at the lake.
Mike’s best piece of advice given to him? “Be honest all the time.”
