The Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission, in partnership with the Prince Albert Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a Courageous Conversation speaker series event on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this conversation will be conducted online using Webex.
The speaker for the Courageous Conversation is Nicole White. She will lead a conversation about Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.
Nicole is the Project Lead for Enough Already SK. She has worked in the community for nearly two decades and specifically focused her professional work on gender-based issues and engaging marginalized populations. Nicole is a registered social worker and in her spare time, spearheaded the non-profit, Moon Time Sisters, getting free menstrual products to girls in northern SK to improve access to education.
Enough Already is a coalition committed to putting an end to workplace sexual harassment in Saskatchewan through education, support and empowerment. Coalition members include: the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission, CREATE Justice, College of Law, University of Saskatchewan, Sexual Assault Services of Saskatchewan, and Saskatoon Industry Education Council. Launched in 2020, Enough Already is a multi-stakeholder coalition determined to address and prevent workplace sexual harassment in Saskatchewan. They are committed to working with government, business, industry associations, unions and community organizations to make workplaces throughout the province safe for everyone.
