Joe Hargrave was elected MLA for Prince Albert Carlton in the 2016 provincial election.

Joe was raised near Porcupine Plain and has lived and worked in Prince Albert as owner/operator of Riverside Auto Group for the past 14 years.

Joe was also a manager with BMO for 20 years, as well as a corrections officer for 4 years. In addition to his busy professional life, Joe is involved in his community as a member of the Rotary Club, Board of Police Commissioners for Prince Albert and previous member of Community Futures.

Joe’s varied business experience help him to have a balanced understanding of the needs of the Prince Albert Carlton constituency.

Joe and his wife Fran have four children and five grandchildren.

“Troy was born and raised in Prince Albert. He earned his Bachelor of Education from the University of Saskatchewan through the SUNTEP program in Prince Albert.

For most of Troy’s career, he was an early childhood educator in a community school. Through teaching in a community school, he saw how important education is to healthy people, families, and society.

Troy has a great deal of experience working with community organizations in Prince Albert. Among them are the Prince Albert Indian and Métis Friendship Centre, Prince Albert Community Players, the Urban Multipurpose Aboriginal Youth Activity Centres, Prince Albert Urban Aboriginal Strategy, and the Prince Albert and Area Teachers Association.

Troy views a strong economy, a well-funded education system, and robust Crown Corporations as being key steps to putting people first.”
