Recently the Chamber hosted a virtual luncheon with Doug Kinar, Executive Director of the Prince Albert branch – Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).

Doug, who, has a Bachelor of Education degree, saw the opportunity to work with the CMHA 17 years ago as an extension of his education.
During Doug’s presentation we discovered that the CMHA offers a drop-in centre, location programs, and residential and education workshops which include Mental Health First Aid.
Kinar says that “Mental Health affects all parts of our life”. The feedback we have received at the Chamber has been excellent, with requests for the handout Doug referenced during the event. This handout can be accessed here: Canadian Mental Health Association-Prince Albert
