Parent-Tot or Family Volunteering Program – All Long Term Care FacilitiesParent and their young children may visit residents on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Parents are responsible for their children at all times.
Shifts: Flexible, once or twice per week.
Patient Information (Greeter) – Victoria Hospital Duties include directing patients and visitors to the various departments for treatments, tests, x-rays, or to other destinations in the hospital.
Shifts: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
Social Detox Centre –Victoria Hospital Volunteers will assist the staff with specific activities and tasks as needed. Duties include visiting, playing cards, board games, reading, listening to music with clients as well as adding quality to the lives of the clients.
Shifts: Flexible – 1 to 3 hours per week
