Kelly Disiewich, partner at MNP Prince Albert office, and Trent Hargrave, general manager and partner at Riverside Dodge, will join the board in its operations.
Mr. Disiewich became prepared for the role by spending a significant amount of time working with privately owned business in the local area.
“I want to give back by advocating for a business-friendly environment in which to operate,” he said. “Prince Albert has an amazing business community and I want to be part of an organization that promotes that.”
Mr. Hargrave, an owner at the Dodge dealership for the past seven years, said he’s been considering the chamber organization for a while.
“I’m super excited about joining,” he said. “Prince Albert has a lot of opportunity and untapped potential,”
Mr. Hargrave, who also has board experience with a dealer advertising association, hopes to help implement “good, smart policies for business,” creating more jobs for the community.
“P.A. deserves to be a great place to live in. Business has to be the lead driver in that.”
Elise Hildebrandt, chief executive officer for the Prince Albert Chamber, welcomes the new recruits to the board of directors.
“I’m looking forward to learning and growing with them,” she said.
Chamber board chair Meghan Mayer mirrored the response.
“I’d like to extend a welcome to the new board members and look forward to working with them in the future.”
