Ms. Patterson outlined two new programs aimed at helping business owners determine energy costs and identify ways to become more efficient. Using the commercial walk-through assessment, SaskPower will pay 90 per cent of the costs for a qualified energy advisor to tour your property and identify efficiencies. SaskPower’s Online Commercial Energy Assessment Calculator is also new, and allows customers to get an estimate and a breakdown of the factors behind their total energy costs and ways they can reduce their usage.
Ms. Patterson also highlighted other programs available through SaskPower, including the Parking Lot Controller Program, the Municipal Ice Rink Program, the Compressed Air System Program, and the Commercial Lighting Incentive Program. Information about all SaskPower’s efficiency programs are available online at www.saskpower.com/savebusiness.
The Chamber would like to thank Megan Patterson from SaskPower for providing our members with information about SaskPower’s various programming options and ways they can benefit and save costs at their business. The next Chamber networking lunch happens July 19.
