MHFA is a 12-hour (2-day) workshop that was developed by the Mental Health Commission of Canada. The workshop provides participants with the skills to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health problems and provides crisis and first aid skills for substance overdose, suicidal behavior, panic attacks, acute stress reactions and psychotic episodes. Since Bridges Health began offering the MHFA workshop in November 2016, we’ve certified more than 550 participants throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba! A common theme from past participants is that the workshop provides practical tools and resources that can be applied immediately.
For more information or to register for the upcoming workshop in Prince Albert on February 26 & 27, 2018, please contact Bridges Health by telephone at 306.668.5520 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Registration is limited.
