The City of Prince Albert is now hiring for all positions to work during the October 26, 2016 municipal election.
Positions needing to be filled include Supervisors, Deputy Returning Officers and Poll Clerks. Wages vary from $11 - $16 – dependant on the position.
Requirements to apply for any of the above positions: person must be at least 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen, and be able to attend the paid training which will happen during the week of September 26 – 30.
The City is looking for a variety of ages and experience levels to fill these positions. Basic math and reading skills are required for the positions. Duties would include setting up, opening, working the poll station, closing and final cleaning up of stations on Election Day. Workers are required to be in attendance the entire day working the poll station from 8 a.m. to approximately 10 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26.
