Mr. Pankiw’s first day as Chamber CEO will be Monday, January 15.
Mr. Pankiw has a diverse business background, and has worked previously across several provinces in the mining, financial services and media sectors. He recently completed his Masters in Business Administration with a specialty in leadership from the University of Fredericton.
Mr. Pankiw is excited to work with the Prince Albert & District Chamber of Commerce, and looks forward to hearing from the local business community.
“I look forward to building relationships in the community, and working with Chamber members to further their goals and priorities,” he said.
“An active Chamber of Commerce is important in every community and the Chamber has a role in helping businesses grow and adapt to economic challenges and issues. I’m looking forward to working on new ideas in my new role with the Chamber.”
Mr. Pankiw grew up in Unity, Saskatchewan, and has lived in Prince Albert since 2010. A long-time volunteer, Mr. Pankiw has served with the Rotary Club and as a member of the Chamber’s Samuel McLeod Business Awards Committee. In his spare time, Mr. Pankiw enjoys curling and slo-pitch.
