Four local candidates are running for a seat in Parliament, including incumbent Randy Hoback from the Conservative Party. Gordon Kirkby is running for the Liberal Party, with Lon Borgerson on behalf of the NDP and Byron Tenkink representing the Green Party. The federal election takes place October 19.
Larry Fladager, CEO of the Prince Albert & District Chamber of Commerce will be the moderator for the evening.
"The federal candidates forum will be a chance for the Prince Albert business community and local residents to hear directly from their candidates and learn more about the priorities of each party leading up to the federal election in October," Fladager said.
"These events are always well attended and play an important role in helping the public understand the issues facing the Prince Albert area."
The forum is free and open to the public to attend.
Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. on September 24. The forum will be held in the cafetorium at Carlton Comprehensive High School from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Parking is available in the north student lot.
